We offer a selection of skin Resurfacers and Chemical Peels that require little to no down time. This means that they give visible results, without causing the skin to excessively shed and peel afterwards. These treatments are effective at treating dull skin, minimizing fine lines, evening the skin tone and texture, while also brightening the complexion.
They can be performed as a one-off treatment in time for a big event or as part of a course to achieve better, long-lasting results. Dermaceutic Milk Peel £46
If you feel your complexion is dull or those fine lines are bothering you, then this chemical exfoliation is for you.
The Milk Peel contains 50% lactic acid, 20% glycolic acid and traces of BHA salicylic acid. Your skin will be brighter, illuminated and glowing. It will also help with skin imperfections and blemishes. The action of the lactic acid is to hydrate the skin following cell renewal. There is a little sensation while having this peel but it is not uncomfortable. It is known as the ‘Red Carpet Facial’ due to the renewing and rejuvenating properties it delivers to the skin.
Painless Peel £20.50
This lovely, superficial peel has no downtime! Enzymes work to desquamate unnecessary dead skin cells on the skin’s surface, leaving the skin looking clearer, and feeling fresher. Texture and tone are also improved and the skin looks luminous. A truly effective, "go to" treatment for those with busy lives. Our advanced skin experts will assess your skin and discuss any skin issues you may be experiencing, in order to personalise your treatment plan with the most suitable treatments for you. Resurfacers are almost like a "mini" peel and the post-treatment downtime is usually a lot less than superficial to medium-depth chemical peels. This will all be discussed with you at consultation.
It is also important to bear in mind that, for many of the Dermaquest resurfacers, you are required to "prep" your skin prior to treatment using specific home care products that will be bespoke to your skin. These products are available to purchase from Woodlands and will prepare your skin in order to generate even better results from your treatment.
