What is Viscoderm?
VISCODERM® Hydrobooster is a Hyaluronic Acid injectable that both hydrates and restructures tissue while also stretching out superficial lines and wrinkles. The deep hydration provided by Viscoderm improves the elasticity, radiance and smoothness of the skin.
The results are extremely natural and long lasting.
Where can be treated with Viscoderm?
It is particularly effective on the areas of the face that experience a lot of movement, ie the forehead, periocular area (around the eyes) and perioral area (around the mouth). It also delivers great results for the chest and neck.
Is Viscoderm a dermal filler?
Viscoderm is an injectable product containing Hyaluronic Acid, which is also found in dermal fillers, however, it behaves differently to a filler. A dermal filler will literally "fill" and plump out the area it is injected into, whereas Viscoderm works on the overall structure of the skin.
Products such as Viscoderm are gaining in popularity as they deliver extremely natural results so are suitable for those patients who are not interested in going down the dermal filler route. Profhilo is another injectable product that is similar to Viscoderm. These products are sometimes referred to as "skin boosters". At your consultation, your aesthetic practitioner will recommend the product that is most suitable for your area(s) of concern.
How much does Viscoderm cost?
For best results, we recommend a course of 2 Viscoderm treatments, to be taken 8 weeks apart.
Viscoderm is £230 for your first treatment, £210 for the second treatment.
