DERMAL FILLERSFine lines, wrinkles and folds are filled and corrected. These can be wrinkles between the nose and the corner of the mouth, between the eyebrows, around the mouth area and the crow's feet wrinkles around the eyes. Sclerotherapy is a well established medical technique that has been performed since the 1920s and is still the most successful medical treatment for this condition. It is carried out by nurses and doctors who have had specific training in this field of medicine. Our Aesthetic Nurse has been practising for over 8 years and is highly experienced.

HOW IT WORKS
A fine needle is inserted into the vein and an injection of a sclerosing agent is administered. Over a period of time, after a series of treatments, the capilliary walls shrink together and the vessels will close down. As the vessels shut down and less blood passes through, death of the vessels will occur.

MEDICAL SKIN PEELThe Medical Skin Peel used by Evergreen is the Jessner's Peel. The Jessner's peel and its variants have been used for over a century. The peel is carried out by Nurse Practitioners and Doctors.
A Jessner's peel smoothes and rejuvenates sun-damaged skin and can treat pigmentation. Acne and wrinkles are treated with significant visible exfoliation and minimal complications.
A client will be given a full consultation. Prior to a peel the client is required to use a skin-care pack called Theraderm for 2-3 weeks. Theraderm prepares the skin for the peel. At the treatment session, the skin is cleansed and the peel applied in layers. A gel is applied after the peel that soothes and hydrates the skin, healing is enhanced and damaged collagen is repaired and restored. In two to three days the skin starts to flake. NuPeel is a product that can be applied to help with the flaking.
The face, neck, hands and upper chest can all be treated.

The Jessner's Peel is solution is three different peeling agents in an ethanol base.
Resorcinol
Lactic Acid
Salicylic Acid
Resorcinol helps to provide a numbing effect and increases the depth of penetration of the lactic acid and salicylic acid.
Lactic acid has a natural moisturizing effect on the skin and enhances the evenness of the peel.
Salicylic acid penetrates directly into the skin follicles, being absorbed into the broad skin surface. Salicylic acid stimulates the elimination of wastes.
